There’s a special alchemy in great wines. Producing them requires constant effort. I hope your visit to my website will help you understand how we work, and convince you that cutting corners or just ‘making do’ have absolutely no place here.

The  aim of all our work is to succeed in creating :
  • Wines that are absolutely special,   oozing their own intrinsic personality.
  • Wines that are subtle and elegant.
  • Wines that can hold their own against the world’s best vintages.
  • Wines that complement the most sophisticated dishes.
  • Wines which will become increasingly complex  if you put them  down for several years,  and on the other hand, give you huge pleasure in their  youth.

    Brought up by parents in the world of teaching, I owe to my father my taste and love of wine, something he encouraged since my adolescence. 
     

    Once I’d passed my Baccalaureat, I moved on to further studies in agriculture, spending 5 fascinating years at the ENITA of Bordeaux and the Agro at Montpellier.


    Then, by a stroke of luck, I crossed paths with one of France’s most talented wine producers, Alain Brumont, founder of the Domaine Bouscassé and the Château Montus at Madiran. The following two years allowed me to swop ideas with him and imbibe from his experience … an incredibly instructive, fascinating period.

    Returning  to the land of my birth, the Languedoc, at the end of the 1980s, I bought my first parcels of vines between Jonquières and Montpeyroux.

    That’s how my first vintage saw the light of day in 1992.

    Ever since 1995, my wines have featured in the Gault Millau magazine, and sales have taken off, particularly abroad …

    Today, the range of wines is well established and I plan no further growth.

    With 17 hectares to cultivate and an average annual production of 50,000 bottles my happiness is complete.
